Also, I am against drones, and all weapons or anything that can kill, because I find war and killing absolutely disgusting. It's sad that we need to use these drones to try and save lives, when in the end more lives are lost. When it comes to discussing this, we may think of solutions, but reality is that all these weapons exist and it'd be hard to stop people from using them, and thats the ugly truth. Technology plays a significant role in a majority of our lives and without it, I don’t think our society would be able to function as efficiently as it does with it. Nearly every activity in a typical person’s life consists of the use of technology. It definitely distracts us from doing more productive things such physical activity, studies, etc. and we find ourselves complaining about obesity, eye-sight problems, and other diseases, when we do it to ourselves with the overuse of technology itself. I find myself constantly using any form of technology, even when I’m reading, which is on my Kindle. You stated that we would feel “lost” without technology and that is absolutely true, in my opinion. We have evolved to the extent that we depend on technology so much that we are not able to perform certain tasks or become productive without the use of technology at least once a day. Why they bring them to this suffering world?? To deliberate ending of a pregnancy needs so much moral and physical sufferings for a mother. But this choice is always make for good reasons. Even if the fetus can feel the pain, but i guess they will be also grateful to their mother for this decision, because this pain is much more less than the pain they will suffer if they are brought in the world. There is this quote by Richard Feynman, an American physicist, and he says “Religion is a culture of faith; science is a culture of doubt.” Many say theres no proof of God, but there is also no concrete evidence of evolution or the Big Bang. Me being more of a religious person definitely influences my opinion on this topic. Discussions about science and religion are tough, especially when you don't fully know both sides. The reason you are so stressed is that you are over thinking things, a test is just no more than a thing to see how much you know about a certain subject. You're a fifteen year old kid, you're not taking the MCATs tomorrow so don't worry, one bad test grade isn't going to ruin your chance at becoming a successful doctor, but only make you have a better chance...The path to victory is not a straight line, rather a bunch side roads that put you onto detours that have road blocks on them. Technology is advancing quicker than lightning, and most people are so indulged in being high-tech, they avoid bigger things. I, personally, enjoy keeping up with what's going on in the world with technology, while others just waste time on social media which have no benefits for them. Also, you said how we use technology to get our homework done faster, and thats the upsetting truth we have to deal with. School work and mostly tests lead to immense amounts of stress on young students. Now, you focused on mainly tests and how a majority of students dislike the idea of going through the pain of studying or taking an assessment of any sort. I admit, tests definitely get the best of me, and they break me down into heaps of stress and I receive great pressure from my parents and teachers. While in most cases I would disagree and say that tests are important to mark the advancement of an individual, I have to say that they have a lot of negatives. While taking a test, I can definitely say I break into a sweat and this causes lack of focus and confidence. A student can show excellent skills and knowledge during class time, and then completely blow the test because his/her’s test taking skills may be weak or they may generally be horrible test-takers. Assessing students through different levels may not be the best way to reach a student’s potential, and I definitely agree with you on that. With so much news about terrorism or robberies or even shootings people are to afraid to let themselves laugh at a group of kids who play jokes on them. The world we live in today is very different from what it used to be and to me, its not pleasing.
Another thing i have on my mind are the prices of goods in America, specifically clothing and shoes. Today we live in aw world where you can't go to the mall without spending at least 100 dollars on whatever it may be, shoes or clothes. An example i have for an over priced item are nike sneakers. A specific pair of nikes called Roshe Runs go for about $70 at retail, which isn't too bad, but still, when a shoe costs only $2 to make, I think it should be marketed at a little less that $70. It is outrageous, but why won't Nike stop this crazy trend???? Because people are willing to the price for these "one of a kind" shoes. Now there is a thing called the "sneaker game" where people buy shoes at retail pricing and resell them for upwards of $400 more then they paid for. its robbery, but hey, if you are gonna buy a $500 pair of shoes, you might as well enjoy them.
My mind is full of ideas, but those are just what popped into my head at a given moment.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01148807257667237540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5905174948295756526.post-63853700389415630212014-03-14T19:59:20.825-07:002014-03-14T19:59:20.825-07:00If you think of life as a journey, every frustrati...If you think of life as a journey, every frustration in mind will be readily solved. Lao She, the master of Chinese language, his vivid use of the Beijing dialect makes a feeling of cordial arise spontaneously from every Chinese's heart. Without any euphuism, his plain words just straightly go through the reader's deepest heart. "Director, may I make a suggestion?" "Okay!" "It is a pity about the poor old manager here. If we give him a doorman's uniform , he can take care of the honored guests getting in and out of cars. He's been here for ages. Everyone knows him. He's like a tradesmark!" "Okay! Summon him!" "Yes sir.......May I report, sir, he's hanged himself! He's dead!!!!" "Okay! Okay!" The ending of the play makes millions of readers lost in the deep thoughts, but I just laughed out so loud for over 1 minute. Oh, justice and sympathy, where have you gone in my mind? These days the only thing that can fascinates me is the spirit realm of Zhang Ailing's aloofness,"I just sit there and complaining about the icecream in the snack shop while hundreds of people walking by the window, half-death and their stomach was rumbling with hunger." Mind-numbing people are all over the world, everyone is just trying to be cool in their own way. Sometimes I think a nun is spiritually the same kind of people as a sex addict, they give the world up, but meanwhile still keeping their hope of finding the virtue of human nature. Living is a voyage, but a lot of people can't even find their destination until the end of the journey. Poor people get frustrated in the queer game of money and vanity..But most of us, are just struggling for living. The cherubic kids who was chasing each other in the wheat field is running away from us. We born with nothing and died with nothing. Yea, we are born to death. Muslims definitely get targeted and hated on throughout the world, and for the wrong reasons. While many terrorists are considered to be Muslims, it was their choice to do what they did, and it has nothing to do with their religion. You fantastically executed how it really hurts you and bothers you how you are like every other person, but not everyone accepts you for who you are. I can’t say that I can relate to you because I really don’t know how it feels to be targeted because of my religion, but I have seen so much on the news and experienced so many situations where Muslims are taken the wrong way. My father gets chosen for random security checks just for having a Muslim name, so I can only imagine what your family goes through. Racism is definitely a huge issue in the world that affects each and every person, and it truly bothers me how people can be so ridiculously careless with their words and actions. I am so glad you brought this up because I know you are constantly disturbed by how people treat you because you are Muslim, and I also know that you take pride in your religion, and so it affects you in so many ways. That is, the subject of ethics and morality in general. Now I realize that this might seem boring, but in fact, it really is quite interesting. This is because a long time ago, I realized that morals were akin to a set of laws that had no foreseeable consequences if broken. A fascinating concept, considering that citizens follow probate simply to avoid consequence. This makes the act of staying true to moral (aka doing the right thing) a scenario in which one follows law simply because he/she believes it is right. Although the world has several righteous people in it, most would succumb to the pressure of a world without rules. In simple terms, I find ethics interesting because they allow the purist of heart to exemplify their true spirit.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03569585998200851010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5905174948295756526.post-91307248697495780122014-03-14T19:40:20.910-07:002014-03-14T19:40:20.910-07:00Kaitlyn… Although I as a student am also stressed ...Kaitlyn… Although I as a student am also stressed i believe we need to step up. The evidence shows we are falling behind and many countries are getting ahead of us. As being the land of opportunity we shouldn't be down in the education system. We should be at the top drawing in more students. I am not saying that school systems need to be harder and I don't believe they can be made easier. For the reason students learn at a different base we have created all different classes. If you feel you are struggling you can always change classes.
